Our story....

Our story began on May 7, 2024… with a Facebook post and a little bit of boldness.

Jennifer had seen Barry pop up on her Facebook for years, posting some of the most ridiculous things imaginable—but somehow, they always made her laugh. Clearly, they shared the same sense of humor. And if she’s being honest… she also thought he was pretty cute.

One day, Barry posted about the horrors of dating, and Jennifer decided to take a chance and message him. He replied right away, and within just a few messages, they jokingly agreed that if they didn’t find anyone… they’d just marry each other.

What started as a joke quickly turned into something more. They talked every single day after that.

At the time, Barry was on the road trucking, but about a month later, he came home and they met in person for the first time—and that was it. They’ve been inseparable ever since.

Somewhere along the way, Barry started asking Jennifer questions that a “friend of a friend” should definitely know. Jennifer assumed that was why she had him on Facebook for all these years. That’s when they uncovered the truth…

They didn’t know each other at all.

Jennifer had, in fact, confidently slid into a complete stranger’s inbox.

But by then, it was far too late. She was already smitten… and after cooking for him (which definitely sealed the deal), Barry was hooked too.

And just like that, one bold message to a stranger turned into something neither of them could have planned—but everything they had been hoping for.

What started as a joke became a friendship, then a love that felt effortless, natural, and meant to be from the very beginning.

Now, they’re getting married on May 7—exactly three years to the day they started talking—a date that will always remind them that sometimes, the best love stories aren’t carefully planned… they just begin with a leap of faith, a shared laugh, and two people who somehow find their way to each other exactly when they’re meant to.
